Most of London is made up of economic invaders. What can you expect? They just want to swell their ranks further until...........there are of them than the indigenous.
I would hope that as well as the obvious presence of the march, each of the groups represented - Oxfam, Medecine Sans Frontieres and the Stop the War Coalition and others will have prepared something tangible to present to upcoming Conference.
//there are of them //

there are more of them (

Im quite happy for us to take some families of refugees but not single young men.

Dave.
A refugee ceases to become one the moment he/she reaches the first country of safety. So all those who, say, pass through Greece, Italy, Germany, France etc are no longer in fear of their lives and must be economic migrants, not refugees.

In my opinion these protesters may have their heart in the right place. but they should define the basis of their protest more honestly.

What do you think should be done with them?
Who, the protesters or ' refugees' ?
"...ahead of a high-level UN summit in New York hosted by Barack Obama during which world leaders will thrash-out a blueprint for an international response to large movements of migrants and refugees fleeing conflicts...."

Send them all to live in USA & Russia, lands of the warriers.
Looks like the front few dozen protesters might be wanting their relatives to join them (second picture down).
//Solidarity with Refugees director Ros Ereira said: "I really hope she is going to set the tone for what kind of a country we can be post Brexit and with her new leadership.//

What 'kind of a country' is she hoping it will be then?
tambourine at 18.45 has hit it. USA is enormous, really enormous. Loads of space and loads of money. They could easily manage about a million spread into, say 6 or 7, new towns which they can throw up easily. Underpopulated areas abound. Oklahoma, Iowah - lots of states are underpopulated, they've been offering incentives to people to go there.

"Hopefully she will want to portray us as an open, tolerant, welcoming society that wants to play an important role on the global stage and lead an appropriate global humanitarian response."

...and what is her definition of open?
Boris knows the solution. Hope our Foreign Minister is at this meeting.

I think people's attitudes changed when almost the entire continent of Africa and the world jumped on the refugee crisis spoiling it for the genuine refugees.

Amazing how these Far-Left protesters are allowed to come out in force, with no counter protesting from the Far-Right.

Now if the Far-Right take to the streets, the Far-Left come out in force.

Just proves which group believes in democracy.
