Just finished reading A Noise Downstairs by Lynwood Barclay which was fabulous.

Ellie: I read a review of it which put me off. Very hard to fathom what’s going on etc.
None of the characters are named I think? For example. There are so many books out there, so many that appeal, and that didn’t seem to be one of them.

Almost finished Hearts In Atlantis - one of the very few Stephen King books i haven't read. Never seen the film but i most likely will catch it next time around.

Thanks for explaining ichkeria. I thought it would be good as it won the Man Booker Prize last year but, I agree, it is very hard to fathom what is going on. I don't like giving up on a book though so will persevere!
