Don't care poem

Where does the following poem come from:
Don't care was made to care, don't care was hung
Don't care was put in a pot and boiled 'til he was done.

This seems to be a traditional nursery rhyme, whose author is unrecorded. Considering its cruel lyrics, I would guess that the rhyme dates from at least 200 years ago.
