Two different childrens stories - can you remember???

Hi - these 2 stories have bugged me for years (they would have both been in the early eighties) The first one was a series that I read at Primary school, the characters were called Mrs Blue Hat / Mr Red Hat and they have the same colour front doors ??

The 2nd story was read when I was about eight i suppose, it was a mystical story that was about unicorns - the front cover was a evening scene of unicorns in the moonlight by a lake - if anyone can help me then I would really appreciate it

the only books i can find that are anything like the ones you mentioned are:

'perry green and mrs blue-hat' 1,2,3 and away: book 13

if you wanted copies of these you would probably have to contact Collins as they seem to be the publisher

I remember the blue, red hat ones they were the books that were used to teach me to read in primary school.

Roger red hat, billy blue hat and jennifer yellow hat.
