What School Should I Attend
I’m going into my senior year and am facing a very difficult decision stay at the school I’ve been at for 3 years or go to a different one. I also have less than a month to figure this out :/
Current School Pros; President of a club, events chair of the trivia club, get to sing at pretty much any event I want to, have no competition for the national anthem, easy transportation ,I’m ambassador, can sing tenor, get to work with my apparel teacher spanish teacher and art teacher again, have no competition in the singing competition for some scholarship money
Current School Cons; Terrible choir program to the point where I don’t want to do the one thing that makes me happy and I’m not getting the education I need to further my learning, no theater, only have acquaintance friends left, teacher won’t teach me the music theory because he doesn’t feel comfortable with it himself:/
Other School Pros;My best friend is going there for senior year too,Amazing theater program with award winning plays , A very good choir that gets to travel and do things like competition and I don’t even need to audition because the choir teacher heard my voice at all county and loved it,amazing art program, choir teacher is a trained opera singer ,have a lot of friends from choir and work
Other School Cons; Will probably have to sing alto, won’t be the best singer, won’t see the teachers I bonded with , leave the few friends I had other school, the choir program at current school will crumble
