That said, no I would not allow my children to take part. Definitely not. I'd be looking for a school that gets on with the business of educating children in what they need to know and doesn't come up with politically motivated crackpot ideas that serve absolutely no purpose.
Scarcely surprising at all.
When we discussed the influence of Islam in the UK and the liklelihood of the complete Islamificaion of the country, there were a number who dismissed the idea.
Among the features I and others pointed out was that there are parts of the country where Islam has already established a firm hold.
This school is in tthe London Borough of Tower Hamlets. That borough has he highest concentration of Muslims anywhere in the UK at more tthan 40%. Its two neighbouring boroughs - Newham and Redbridge - both weigh in at more than 33%.
So it's little surprise that its politicans and public sector workers are prone to be in support of the Palestinians.
What is surprising is that an industry which insists on using taxpayers' money to ensure every child has a hot meal every day is ratther fickle when it comes to encouraging them to miss out on that vitally important nourishment. But of course it's very likely that many of the school's pupils fast for a month every year anyway, so I imagine they are quite used to it.

Then some snippets from the school’s website might interest you, naomi:
“At George Green’s, we are very proud that we are a Rights Respecting School. Awarded by UNICEF, the Award recognises that which puts the United Nation Convention at the heart of everything they do.
Our assembly program is primarily based on recognising, celebrating and informing students and staff about celebrating international days and weeks on the United Nations calendar.
We are currently in the process of re-assessing for the Gold Award which we first achieved in 2018. It is very rare for a secondary school to achieve this level of the award and there are currently only three in the whole of London.”
