Did Poirot say?

I was just wondering if I was wrong or right to think it was Poirot who said, "You're probably wondering why I've gathered you all here today?" and is that exactly what he said. I've been looking though my books and can't seem to find it. Can anyone help?

90 per cent sure it was Hercule Poirot,but not sure if it was in the books or just the drama series. Can't remember that specifically from any of the books.
