Where were the Waverly Novels, Kenilworth edition published?, And When?


I have several copy's without any dates. print is heavy then light, Hardcover in red, with vines and 2 crests.

It's possible that more than one publisher might have used the series title 'Kenilworth Edition'. ('Kenilworth', of course, is the title of one of Scott's Waverly novels).

One publisher who definitely used this series name was Geo. Routledge of New York. I can't provide a precise date but, based upon the pencil inscription in this book, it's likely to be the first half of the 1880's:
