I'm not a sponger at all, but I need to know what grants and loans I'm entitled to if I'm going to start doing a BTEC in performing music. I'm 21, and I live at home. My borough is islington. Any ideas?

The college is the best place for this so try contacting them first (it's been a while but i think the Student Union is the place to ask for). They will give you all the information and leaflets/application forms you need.

sectionid=736 If no joy go and see the college you are going to study with - talk to the courses administrator - they should be able to provide you with information on varieties of funding. Good Luck!
