Michael Stone is a former Northern Irish Loyalist Terrorist, jailed for murder, who gave up paramilitarism and turned to painting. I know that he sells his paintings commercially, but can anyone tell me where I can buy one?

Isn't Michael Stone the guy who murdered Josie's mother and little sister, Megan? He's got the same name, and I shouldn't just expect that he's the guy you're on about, but as you say he's been jailed for murder. If it IS the same man, why on earth would you want one of his painings?

Caravaggio was also a murderer, but he is one of the great artists of the Renaissance period.

Jeannette, I know that the name is the same, but that is coincidence. Michael Stone who murdered Megan and her mother is not the Michael Stone that I am referring to. The Michael STone that I am talking about is a former Northern Irish Loyalist Terrorist, who was jailed for crimes (including murder) related to the Northern irish conflict. While he was in prison, he began to paint, and as his paintings began to sell, their value rose steeply. When he was released from prison under the so-called "Good Friday Agreement" he became involved in rehabilitation work and his art work is now highly prized and regarded as a good investment.
