i remember reading a book as a child featuring monsters who used bomiknockers, anyonehave any clue what thebook was called?

thios is wierd, were the monsters and the story set in medieval times or was it modern? Sounds odd to have a childrens book featuring such a weapon.

I used to read it as a child in 1986/87 I think it was quite new then. But it's still going somewhere because my brother and sister have recently read it in the last 2-3 years.

It wasn't Littlenose's little troop, was it? I do remember the term, because it's something I still use, and I seem to remember hearing it read out on a kids' TV programme.

I was talking about this just the other day to my kids, because I had never heard the word until they came home from school and said they had read about it in a book. I just asked them but they can't remember either, but for some reason the Beaver Towers books keep coming in my head, but the kids say they don't think so.
