Writing a snotty letter

Hi,

I am currently working in a team that contain the most dull, boring and biggest two faced bitches i've ever worked with. Today is my last day and i really want to write them a snotty (yet witty) email to let them really know how boring they are and how glad I am to be leaving. (childish I know but these people have been hell for 8months of my life)

Can someone give me some good paragraphs I could write? I've got writers block and can't think what to write!

You don't require a reference from this organisation then? They can refuse to give one you know it there is any reason to doubt your integrity.

best approach is to say nothing keep your dignity e mail them and say you wish them well in the future and what a pleasure it has been working with them

No, I don't require a ref. I'm moving to another team within the organisation.

Tempting though this is, I'd advise against it, especially if you are moving within the company.

The things have a nasty habit of boomeranging back in the future - any of thos individuals, or friends of theirs, could end up in a position to damage your career.

As crete says, rise above it, be bigger than they are. You'll be glad you kept your dignity - malice and petty spite fades, dignity shines on for ever.

Once written down in an e-mail it could be taken to your HR department and you could be in a bit of trouble.

We have all worked with people we dont like, but try not to lower yourself to their level.

Swallow your pride and just be glad you are out of the department.

buy a card and then find a really cutting but obscure insult written perhaps by someone like oscar wilde or noel coward - one that is ambiguous and may even go over their heads.

DON'T DO IN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I was in this position too, and I keep in touch with a friend of the organisation, and of the three b*tches who made several people leave, two have left after being threatened with the sack, and the other is now isolated and ploughing her own lonely furrow. You'll find that once you've left, you'll be so received and feel better that you hadn't stooped to their level. Also, NEVER write anything insulting as it can always be preserved and used against you should the opportunity arise. If you must express it, say it, rather than write. Good luck with your future working life!

You may be able to get satisfaction if you go over the top the other way - send them a thank you note for all the wonderful times you have spent together.
However, burning bridges is a really bad idea - you never know when you might end up working together again. Best just to know you are better then they are, and enjoy the feeling.

send then an overly nice "thank you" letter.

if you send it via e-mail, keep a copy of the original to use for future referance should your friends decide to get back at you later in your career...
