I have recently seen the film version of RENT and loved it! Does anyone if it is on in the west end or is coming on soon?! I would love to see it on the stage. thx 4 any help! xxx

Sorry - it's not on in the West End. The Society of London Theatre website lists all shows (both present and future) which are currently booking and it's not listed:

Unfortunately, a web search seems to show that Rent hasn't toured in the UK since 2001.

There were two major UK productions. The first (West End) run featured many of the original Broadway cast (who are also in the film) and was amazing. A couple of years later a new version toured, starring Adam Rickitt as Mark, which also ended up in the West End - another good production.

If you're buying the DVD, I recommend the Zone 1 (US) version as it's a 2-disc set containing loads of superb extras (including documentaries and interviews with the writer/composer who tragically died just before it opened). These are not on the Zone 2 (Europe) edition!
