What book next

I have just finished reading Little Face by Sophie Hannnah, Could anybody recommend a book to read next, I enjoy crime and thriller.

Now I don't know if this is cliched or not because of the Da Vinci Code hysteria, but I just read Dan Brown's 'Deception Point' and found it to be very good indeed. Have heard good things about Stuart McBride, but I haven't bought anything yet.

Donna Leon writes detective novels with a Venice background. They all have well-constructed plots and are beautifully written. Commissario Brunetti is the central character. He has a wife and two children who don't get in the way of the main plot, and yet are interesting characters nonetheless, which is not usual in this kind of novel. In my experience at least. I'm always irritated by the detective who's family won't let him get on with his detecting. I have to say that I'm a little bit in love with Brunetti's wife, and those Italian meals she serves up...!!!
