Roswell/ UFO?
10 Answers
My boyfriend doesn't really believe in UFOs etc, but he's interested in the attempts to prove and disprove it. I'm thinking of getting him a book on it for his birthday (Roswell being an idea as thats obviously a famous one) but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on any good books? I'm not that fussed by the subject so I wouldn't know if I had a great one or one that would cure insomnia - and it is one of those subjects, that could be just a rubbish read and a lot of 'used just to be impressive' words. Any ideas? Cheers!

I have only read one such book, but I liked it. It was titled "UFOs and Other Worlds," and was written by Peter Ryan... a Briton!!! It is now out of print, but used copies can be found on Amazon.com (maybe also Amazon UK, I haven't looked). It is aimed primarily at teen-aged readers, but it really captured the imagination, so I think most adults would also like it. It had great illustrations, photos and drawings. It was a little more "fun" than it was "scholarly".
OMG! You have to get him to read the stuff by Erich Von Daniken. He looks at historical proof like archeological artifacts and presents them as evidence of alien beings and their influence on earth and humans. He goes as far as to say that human beings emerge out of seeds planted by aliens and that they are the basis of our concept of a God. All non-fiction and extremely interesting!
Get: According to the Evidence and Chariots of the Gods by Daniken.
