Although the book was good, I thought it seemed like he just decided to end the book so that he can do another follow-on, which was disappointing. I was expecting some sort of explanation about where dcak got his money and skills from, for example. And why bring back Kyle and leave it like that? Is it just me?

Mr Patterson (always said in the Harry Enfield voice in our house) is an easy and entertaining read, but maybe getting a bit lazy/greedy in that he would rather leave the plot hanging in order to "hoik" the fans in for the next gripping instalment, instead of providing a satisfactory conclusion.
