Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Now that JK Rowling has officially named her next book who do you think is the half-blood prince?? I initally thought it could possibly be something to do with Neville Longbottom, but have since remembered that both his parents were wizards therefore he is full blood. Anyone any suggestions as to who it could possibly be??

According to this website, Mark Evans is nobody, who is unlikely to be the HBP. I think that person might be a new character.
Could it be Dudley?
for those who think its mark evans.. its not..because jkr says on her official website that mark evan was a coincidence, and is a character in the background who just needed a name..the first one that came to here probbably. i think it could b anyone.. hagrid...is half breed and half blood...but wat about those centures it could be one of them!
Right, i really doubt it will be an entirely new person. I think it will be a familiar and important one that we dont know much about - jkr always gives a backstory on a main character in her books, in PS it was harry himself, in CoS it was Hagrid, in PoA it was the all the Maurauders, in GoF it was Neville and the Death Eaters trials, in OotP it was snape and his parents.
So, who is big and important and who we know little about? most of the Faculty and some of the order but most noticably
Dumbledore.
I think we'll get his story in this book as the half blood prince "champion of mudbloods and muggles everywhere" and snapes in book 7
OK Every one. The Halfblood Prince is not Neville because he is a pureblood.
It is proven here.
At the end of OotP, Dumbledore it talking to harry about the Prophacy.
Here it is:
"But he may have chosen wrong!" Said Harry. "He might have marked the wrong person!"
"He chose the boy that he thought most likely to be a danger to him," said Dumbledore. "And notice this, Harry. He chose, not the pureblood(refering to Neville) but the Half-Blood, like himself.
Since Voldermort chose Harry I am thinking that the only thing In that statement that Harry could be is the Half Blood. The only other person refered to in the Prophacy is Neville therefore Neville is the Pureblood in the statement.
Oh and for those idiots that keep saying how can Harry be Half Blood When both his parents where wizards.
Ok this is how it works.
Even if both your parents are witches. If one of then are Muggle-born. They are not concidered to be a Pure Blood witch. They are considered a Mudblood.
If you are muggleborn and study magic, you are considered a witch or Wizard. But in reality you are still a muggle but you are just a muggle that is part of the wizarding world. I hpe that this clears thing up just a little.
In JKR's site, she had confirmed that the HBP is Harry nor Voldemort.
I personally thinks it Remus Lupin, I read somewhere on one of the HP sites that someone found the origins of the name Remus and him being a werewolf. Its a roman myth, Remus and his twin brother Romulus was raised by a wolf. Their true origins were royal. They were only half royal blood because their mother did not marry nor had a child with another royal person. To know more read about the myth. JKR already said that Remus doesn't have a twin that would kill him. But somehow I believe that his fate would end up the same as the myth. All marauders would end up dead at the end. Sorry for being a pessimiste, but I'm only doing my research.
