A while ago I heard a version of Charlene's
"I've Never Been To Me" performed by a female artist in what I can only describe as a hauty, even imperious style - indeed most of the lyric was spoken rather than sung; in a similar style to Eartha Kitt?
Can anyone help?

It's by Nancy Wilson - album called Anthology, available on i-tunes. It's good too! Shirley Bassey-ish almost!
