has anyone read keeping faith I don't understand the last few lines at the end. did it mean that her mother was hurting her after all. It didn't make sense to me

I have read it, but I can't remember the last few lines - remind me what they are...?

I was a bit confused by them as well, but I took them to mean that the girl (Faith) had been making it all up, and that she wasn't really seeing God.

I'd love a definitive answer though!
