Please help anyone there was an article in one of the sunday papers ( the mail on sunday, express or mirror) showing photos of kids doing really dangerous things years ago i would love to get the book with the photos for my dads birthday but ive gone and recycled the paper can anyone help??? i think it was called when we were lads but have tried amazon and no luck the details were at the end of the article

You might be interested in a book called 'Hung Out to Dry', which looks at the demise of swimming in the open air, and in rivers and lakes. It's published by Lulu and has lots of interesting photos.

I seem to remember seeing those old photos, I get the Sunday Express so it could be that newspaper, sorry I didn't take a lot of notice.
