Are the novels of P G Wodehouse an acquired taste or is it worth dipping into them and if so, where to start? Ta Muchly.

Like any other books some people like them, some don't, try any Bertie Wooster for a start.

Maybe start with 'Thank You, Jeeves,' the first full-length Jeeves novel.

It is a long time since I read any but I do remember that I quite liked them. They are very much of their time and not everyone will like them.

Wodehouse also wrote short stories, often featuring the same characters as the novels. You might try these smaller doses before starting a full length novel.
A collection of his stories is usually quite varied with a couple each of Jeeves & Wooster, Blandings Castle, Drones Club, Mr Mulliner, Oldest Member (Golf Club). You might find some more to your taste than others.
Wodehouse offers entertainment at different levels, He is most noted for his use of language; the characters, settings and plots are amusing but usually far removed from real life.
