Does anyone know the full poem on Trust in Friendship?. I can only remember the last two lines of a poem which was entered into an Autograph Album (How quaint ) back in the fifties, which warned of divulging secrets to friends.
It ended as follows:-
For if that friend should turn to foe
Then all the words thy secrets know.
If you have a friend, then treat her such
But do not tell your friend too much
For if that friend should turn to foe
Then round the world your secrets go.
