I wonder if anyone can furnish me with the complete poem regarding trusting friends with secrets. This was entered into an autograph album in the 50's.
The last two lines were;
For if that friend should turn to foe,
Then all the world thy secrets know.
Hello oldmisery
Could it be this -
If you have a friend, then treat her such
But do not tell your friend too much
For if that friend should turn to foe
Then round the world your secrets go.
