Wax............

I suppose I asked for that.!!! But I am female and just thought another lady would have a reply as to what to use .!
Sorry........am I not a lady. Have it professionally waxed or use a facial bleach.
electrolysis is a good method. it doesn't hurt and after time they dont grow back.
''am I not a lady''

Judging by your avatar it is debatable...
Well at least I've no tache..........
threading is good. it removes the hair from the root but doesn't take off the skin like waxing can.
Threading is a hundred times more painful than waxing though in fairness... I don't mind getting my eyebrows threadded but it's the only place I'd do it... Mind, I'm a wuss!
what about laser?
The only way to permanently remove it is with electrolysis. It`s painful though and it takes several sessions.
I've been avoiding threading like the plague after a couple of painful experiences but was wandering past a half price promotion and being a bit broke and having been meaning to get them done for a while (I do pluck at home, I'm not that bad - I just don't have the patience to do a professional type job :)) I figured the pain might be worth the bargain so took a deep breath and went for it and it was amazingly unpainful! Am guessing it's maybe the individual threader (?) and how they do it.
far less fuss is to use Veet or some other hair removal cream - you can get one for the face

Thankyou for your answers. I have had my eyebrows threaded and yes that did hurt but hadnt thought about my top lip. I think I will give Veet a try firt and see how I get on. thanks again.
While you're watching the telly just sit there with your tweezers and pluck away!
I've been thinking about getting my eyebrows threaded, but having read the posts, I don't think I'll bother now.

Are you sure lilac, that they are as noticeable as you think?
I'd go with the facial hair remover route tho.
I would not recommend plucking fine hairs such as those on the top lip. Plucking increases blood flow to the area and can result in making the hairs stronger! I am a beauty therapist and we would never encourage that. Threading is very good for upper lip - very good generally for fine hairs and can catch hair that other methods cannot. Waxing is quite painful - I think more painful than threading. Cream are quite gentle method but can be a problem on sensitive skins and can burn. I would go with threading.
