Has anyone tried getting rid of the thin hairs..............................
on the top of your lip.? My hair isnt dark but they are really showing a shadow. Not sure what to use so would like some help please. Many thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I've been avoiding threading like the plague after a couple of painful experiences but was wandering past a half price promotion and being a bit broke and having been meaning to get them done for a while (I do pluck at home, I'm not that bad - I just don't have the patience to do a professional type job :)) I figured the pain might be worth the bargain so took a deep breath and went for it and it was amazingly unpainful! Am guessing it's maybe the individual threader (?) and how they do it.
I would not recommend plucking fine hairs such as those on the top lip. Plucking increases blood flow to the area and can result in making the hairs stronger! I am a beauty therapist and we would never encourage that. Threading is very good for upper lip - very good generally for fine hairs and can catch hair that other methods cannot. Waxing is quite painful - I think more painful than threading. Cream are quite gentle method but can be a problem on sensitive skins and can burn. I would go with threading.
