Does anyone remember California Poppy and Evening in Paris, or Soir de Paris as they renamed it. My first present from a boy was a bottle of California Poppy, he put it in a matchbox. My dear boy now buys me Opium.

Does anyone remember 'in love' I think it was called from back in the seventies I think,my aunt used to wear it all the time and it smelt really lovely on her but if I wore it I'd smell like an old carrier bag,think it was made by Hartnell.

The smell of Chanel no. 5 makes me retch - my horrid MIL wears it

I alternate between RiveGauche and Jo Malone's Grapefruit
They are the only two perfumes that dont make me smell of cats wee

I used to love Clinique Wrappings, you had to spray it above your head in a fine mist and walk into it as it was oil based, it's the other one I dislike, is is Aliksa or something????

Remember aqua manda,the name but not the smell. I cant stand Avon perfumes either,girl at work is an agent for them and brings in all the testers,never smelt a single one that I like,a couple of the mens fragrances aren't too bad though.

I love very light fresh eau de toilettes or parfum - at the moment I use Chanel Cristalle - I also hate the smell of Chanel No5 - it smells like cat's wee.

All Avon fragrances smell the same, strong and overpowering, the only one that was fresh and lovely was Eau de Givree - its discountinued now but you can still get it on Ebay. I have bought a fragrance from Lidl, it was fresh and light and smelt lovely. I don't really care how little or high the price is, if it smells pants then I won't wear it. {:o(
