Eyebrow threading
1904 Answers
Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Hello There! Thank goodness I'm back to normal..I think it must have been the pie I bought that did for me. Thanks all for your concern
Been a bit busy today watching 2 football matches. My niece played for a team on our local football park where there are about 5 or 6 pitches. Sorry to say they lost then I went to Pride Park and they were playing Leeds who have lost to us 10 times on the run now. We won again today3 - 1. I walked there and back to both games so I'm reckoning about 6 miles in all.
Neti I rip the papers up smallish and then just soak them like you have done but I have to keep stirring often and it does usually work.
My plumber didn't come yesterday to do the cementing so he's coming in the morning and I have to have his little son with me. I'm going to love it.
My brother came this afternoon while I was out and left his gear and has gone out again so we will bump into each other in the morning. I usually know when he's awake he strums on his guitar in the bedroom.
Right - I hope you've all had a good day and that you have a good night. I'm off now to see if I've won the Lotto. Oight Oight.

Good morning, we had such rain here last night, just when I had left all the bathroom mats and towels hanging out, well it doesn't usually rain!
Have made paper snowballs with printing on them, hopefully they will dry out and we can use them on the log fire if and when, which is what I should have done in the first place, should just have burnt them!!!

Morning all...lovely sunny one (so far)
Neti you're worrying too much, just rip, twist, scrunch tight. The print is unlikely to come off most documents but after it's been soaked and screwed up it's very unlikely anyone could straighten anything out again. (you'd need to be very careful and determined!) You could always do what my two horrors did with paper mache...and that's throw it hard up to the ceiling so it sticks....tut.
oh, the lotto...I know I didn't win on the numbers but I haven't checked the raffle yet.

Had a lovely lunch out in the country with the locals, real food nothing frozen.
Then sis-in-law has finally managed to scan some old photos of us and I have also managed to get them into a folder on computer, hija is of course out partying, it is the closing parties for Amnesia and Space so she'll be home some time tomorrow!!!

Lunch out sounds nice Neti .I only have boring things to do today as my usual Sunday crossie from the Guardian isn't available to download .
I've spent ages and several washings trying to get a stain out of a favourite top and I'm down to my last sliver of Fairy Household Soap and you can't get it for love or money anymore .
Lovely here though and I keep wandering up the garden to stand in the sun for a bit .
As we were leaving the house, there was an absolute deluge and I flatly refused to stagger down the mud to open the gate so Mr N had too. the roads were like rivers, I thought about cancelling our reservation but Mr N doesn't mind aquaplaneing, once we were halfway through the countryside it was sunny. We always go out to eat on a sunday, I refuse to cook. I notice he was talking to himself at the table so I asked if it was a private conversation or could anyone join in, he was embarrassed, poor Mr N, he thinks he is so cool!!!!
