Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

The weather here is absolutely fabulous ...hot in the sun, lovely breeze, the birds are singing. Why can't every day be like this?
Neti, take up gardening, it's easier than some of the trials you seem to put yourself through and it's good for the soul (not necessarily the body). It should be taught in schools, it would do 'em a lot more good than some of the airy fairy subjects they have these days.

Hello all
Late on parade .Hope you're all Ok and that your tum is settled Jude .
Yes ,what a lovely abfab day .It's clouded up a bit now but it's been very warm and sunny and I've been a busy biddy today.
20 mins a day walking ( or tottering in my case ) is supposed to be good for you according to nanny on the news ,so I tottered to the hairdresser and then to Wilkies and back .But I didn't feel like walking the couple of miles to B&Q so my brother took me .Got a lav seat and some cushion floor .Brother kindly fitted the seat for me but his poor old knees don't get down on floors these days so I'll have to wait for Picky to come and do that.
Hello Biddyfriends. Thanks for wishing me well but truthfully I don't feel it. I'm going to the Drs. in the morning. Haven't felt right since Saturday night/Sunday morning. I think I want a dose of 'God help me'! That's one of my Dad's! See yer later. x
I'm sure I'm solar powered, I feel soo much better when I'm outside in the sun.
Ooh, I need some new cushion floor in my lav too, I wonder if tarquin could fit it, it's a bit far for shaney's Picky to do mine :)
Oh good luck Jude, hope you get sorted.
ah, freshly washed ashes, remind me to invite you to my cremation, neti. Papier mache body cast sounds like a good idea. One of the thing people sometimes ask me about is the is 6'6" plaster cast out our back door... it was an art project by jno jnr in his youth, had himself covered in plaster except his face. Now it sits here unclaimed. The hole in the face is usually home to an old Pepsi can.

Photos take up less room.
Poor jude, yes go and get it sorted, and be quite firm with the old medico!!

Ahh jno now I can google and find where you live, can't be many places with a bodycaste outside the door.

How do the rest of you say "jno" I say juno, swede used to say jay en o??
Meatballs were very tasty, although they were not firm enough and so melged (my invented word) into each other, so had to whip up a bit of extra sauce, and don't tell woofy but I did put a pinch a very small pinch of salt in them as they need it, I also used porriage oats instead of bread, yes yummy indeed.
try d'you know.

Ah, soft meatballs, a blessing for those like me infirm of tooth.
where did my post go?
I said that Robi was like the butterflies, enjoying the last of the autumn sun.
I sent sympathy to Jude and said yes go and give the doc a talking to.
I asked for a pic of jno's mummified son (or should that be sonnified)
I laughed at the ashes saga
I commented on Shaney's loo seats. that's my next thing to get done. We bought posh wooden ones but the loo cleaning products have eaten the varnish.
Well that's the update.
In other news, I say "jerno" with the accent on the "O".
I got a gold star at my nice dentists today for excellent tooth care, if you knew how bad my teeth are naturally, you would be as pleased as I am.
The new sockets that my nice man put in yesterday have a slight problem. When i use any of them, it trips the fuse for half of my kitchen sockets :(
I will give him a shout tomorrow.
Neti, i salt my food, the only reason i said to you to try cutting down was because you had a thirst problem. Have you still by the way?
No not anymore woofy, must have been the unbearable heat at the time. I still do not normally salt my food during cooking or after!
I think poor mousey is also infirm of tooth, so today I tried to soak her croquettas (what are they in English?) in milk, but she shouted at Mr N and he had to give her fresh crunchy ones! She won't eat tinned cat food.
Wait until I get my shredder, that'll be interesting with all the things I'm gonna shred!!
I also cannot abide wooden loo seats, only because the ones I have seen are all discoloured round the rim, and makes me think they are filthy! I like plastic that I can scrub and bleach to my heart's delight!!
I am a scrubber and disinfecter Neti, thats why my loo seat varnish has disintegrated.

Bless my soul, woofy, you had me wondering why your dentist gives you sockets when mine spends vast amounts of my money trying to fill mine.
ha ha jno....two different nice men, yesterdays was my diy man.
oight oight all.
Good morning all. Thick thick fog this morning which no one forecast....I bet they will have forecast it now it has happened!!
Good morning.

I have woken up cold with icy feet, what a quick change.
