Does Anyone Remember Aqua Manda?

the reason I am asking is because I smelled something very similar on someone when I was in the post office but she had gone before I got a chance to ask what perfume it was

Yes I remember it well, I had lots of it. Loved the smell of Meadowsong until I put it on my skin.

Yes and there was Aqua Manda for Men as well. I bought an orange flower pattern shirt with a matching tie ( shirt and tie in the same pattern & material , anyone remember them?) and there was a bottle of Aqua Manda for Men with it as a free gift.

not the Loccitane as I have already tried that and didn,t like it, it,s got other scents like musk with it,I have not tried Jo Malone - will have a look for that one, and I didn,t know that you could get Aqua Manda again thank you

I think you'll find that the name was sold to a "cheapie" company - so don't expect it to smell the same as it was years ago.

Folly - I have actually an old empty bottle of orange blossom sitting here beside me - it was by Laura Ashley and given to me as a present a few years ago - I kept the bottle as it was one of those with the little ball and tassle hanging from it - I would have thought it too sickly but in fact it was lovely - do you know where I can buy it now. Laura is not doing it any more. tia

Remember being given some by a school friend for Christmas one year in the 60s. Smelled absolutely awful.

Which company produced Aqua Manda? It's somewhere in the back of my memory but I can't grasp it.

Meadowsweet is bringing back vague memories as well.

there are a lot of little samples of the Jo Malone on Ebay so I might get one of those first as it will be better than just a quick spray in the shop, I have never liked doing that anyway because if you don,t like it you are stuck with it on you until you go home and can wash it off, I am not sure about the new Aqua Manda ,probably not the same after all, as you say might be "cheap"
