Easy Blowdrying

I've been struggling with my hair for a while, having been growing out an inverted bob and had it cut a few times to try to level out the layers so there are only longer ones, it has also become unmanageable, mainly due to medication and a syndrome I have which makes it really dry.

It's very fine and just above shoulder length with a natural wave which goes curlier when damp. Used to be quite oily but now very dry and damaged.

I've been trialling and erroring with shampoos and conditioners, mainly erroring, and have now switched to repair type products rather than ones for dry hair which don't seem to do anything for it.

I had difficulties with blowdrying like hairdressers do as I have impingement in both shoulders so my range of movement and length of time I can hold my arms up is limited. Thankfully it dries pretty quick as it's so fine but has anyone got any tips how I can blow dry my hair straighter easily to stop me resorting to straighteners while I'm trying to rescue my hair.

My hair is fine and about same length as yours. The huge roller does not give curls. It is straightening out my hair which I wear in a bob.
No Brylcreem, Tony?
Not since I last flew a spitfire, gness ;-)
Brylcream has a chemical reaction with Grecian 2,000:-)
LOL, how do do you know, rusty.
Spitfire? Might have guessed. Not a Fokker Friendship then?
I can sniff-out a comb-over & hair dye from a 100 miles:-)
My Ma...who was a bit of a snob...met a chap with silver grey hair. She thought going out with a grey haired man aged her so she offered to wash his hair for him. Three or four times a week she did it, without him knowing, with Grecian 2000...poor bu99er didn't know what was happening to him as he got darker and darker.
lol @ gness. I worked with a guy in his 60's, who was as grey as a badger. He decided to dye his hair but he picked up the wrong bottle & ended up being bright ginger:-)
Welcome, Ferlew..I love mine...beats the nose hair trimmer any day...:-)
Oh bliddy hell Gness, you have nasal hair ???????
H iEve, I use a leave in conditioner from Boots, a coconut and almond one. Works a treat on my hair, leaves it shiny and smells nice. Once or twice week when my hair is a bit off and it bucks it up a treat. Something like £ 1-50 a small pump spray bottle, but it goes a long way .
Not since I forgot to adjust the flame on my lighter, Ferlew..:-(
. Not a Fokker Friendship then?

Afraid not Daisy, those Fokker's bombed our chip shop !.

Thanks flump :) I got one which has coconut in at least a bit ago as a bit of an extra boost and it's a pump bottle one, could be the same one.

I was going to use it as an extra condition on the occasional evening but may try a double condition adding it in and see if it helps.
Hehe chuckle Gness.
