Chanel Perfumes

I usually go for No5 but would like a change does anyone use a chanel perfume that lasts but is not to overpowering and would be good for day or night

I've gone off Chanel. I don't know if they've changed the formula but last time I bought some No5 I actually gave it away. I tend to stick to Clinique nowadays.........

When one of the local chemist started selling Chanel No 5 at a discount price, the company stopped supplying them. A spokesman said " No 5 is special, we don't want everyone in the street wearing it" I thought pompous old git and have not bought any Chanel product since.

I don't know it but Chanel Chance seems to be popular. You need to go into a store and spray!

Yes, I'm a fan of Chanel Chance, just been bought a bottle as a leaving present from work. Also, Chanel Chance Eau Friche is nice and is a bit lighter. For the evening when I'm in the mood I use Chanel Allure Sensual. Apart from Chanel I also love Prada d'Iris which is definitely worth trying.

Craft, I agree with you about Chanel No.5 The last bottle I had, I threw away. I didn't like the way it changed on me. It definitely smelt sweaty. Horrible.
I now wear Clinique Happy Heart which all ways results in complimentary comments from other people.

For special occassions it's Jo Malone.

I thought perhaps something was wrong with my sense of smell as I find some perfume do smell sweaty. Good to know it's not just me alone.

I too found the last bottle of Channel I bought had a sweaty odor.
