Hi, all! I'm seriously considering some cosmetic surgery, but the prices here in the UK are ridiculous. Has anyone gone abroad to have bits done? I've found this place called "New look Holiday" in Slovakia where the prices are much more reasonable, has anyone used this company, if so, what were your results, and what was your experience of the whole service? Thanks in advance!

I know several people who have used secret surgery for tummy tucks, arm lifts and boob lifts after massive weight loss - and they are very happy with the results - give them a google.
Graham Norton once said that two things you shouldn't try and get cheap are sushi and cosmetic surgery :)
Thailand has some excellent hospitals. I hear that you can have a hospital/hotel holiday for some procedures.
alan paterson is at a loose end
he will do whatever you want for money
The following link may provide some of the basic information:-

but you would be best advised to seek advice. Start by talking to your GP, s/he may be able to put you in touch with a professional who can help if the procedure you want/need cannot be sourced via NHS.
it seems to have good reviews; but of course, who knows who wrote them?

I always wonder with these “surgery abroad” things what happens when things go wrong....even worse when things go wrong once you are home again....
When things go wrong the NHS picks up the bill to deal with infections and other health issues but not to remedy wonky cosmetic surgery.

I wouldn't risk it.
But HC you can get those from having your plastic surgery in the UK and the NHS will pick up the pieces.
Yes, indeed. I was just replying to woofgang
My aunt had a boob job in Thailand.

It actually saved her life.
Islay is correct.....there are EXCELLENT plastic surgeons abroad.
The UK must get over the fact that if healthcare is not British , it is sub standard...nonsense.
I considered having dental implants done abroad, since they#re must cheaper and apparently very good; but when you include the cost of going there for three or four consultations and aftercare, there was no saving.
??? MUCH cheaper.
This site looks good https://www.realself.com/

I can't see the pictures as you have to join, but I have read a couple of reviews on New Look Holidays and they do seem like proper reviews.
It's not the quality of the surgery that bothers me as much as being far from home and facing a flight after major surgery.
Will you expect the NHS to pick up the pieces if it goes wrong?
Eddie that is our entitlement IF anything should go wrong
