puffy eyes
11 Answers
My eyes are always puffy and tired. Strangely it seems worse on the days where i've had a better nights sleep the night before ?? it takes til the end of the day for the puffieness to go down. I don't feel tired, but my eyes do....all the time. I can see and read perfectly well too so i don't think it's to do with my eye sight. Any ideas on what could be the cause or reccomendations on creams etc to make it better ?

Also if you use normal moisturiser around the eye area, it'll go puffy as the skin is so thin it can't absorb all that cream. That's what the woman in the salon told me but maybe she was trying to get me to fork out 30 for some eye cream/gel with a lighter formulation. I can think of better ways of spending 30.

Yea yea. Spinchimp's funny.. I had the same problem. Drink lot's and lot's and lot's and more of water. Puffy eyes can be dehydration so rule that out first (by drinking loads) Then make sure you have enough sleep (7-8 hours) If that doesn't work try the other methods. Tea bags or cucumber on eyes while lying in hot baths etc. It does work (a little bit)
ems27, I have exactly the same problem, my eyes are sore and smarting as we speak (well type). I think it has something to do with either face cream or makeup, or even body lotion, and an allergic reaction. dogfish, I have used product like the one you mention but it makes the skin feel tight and usually you can't wear foundation over the product, also you can't use it every day. Ems27 and I need something you can use every night (like an eye cream) which will clear the bags like magic - don't we, ems?
