What do guys think of this? apparently, its for damaged hair caused by perming/relaxing/straightening - what do people think of it? anyone had it? think its about 50 a time!
hi id never heard of this before so just read up on it. it sounds quite good on the surface but it could be another "fad" thing to con more people out of money lol. but i say if you have got the money then go for it, no halm in trying.
Not heard of it, to be honest, but after I had my hair permanently straightened last year it was in really bad condition and the only thing that worked (even better than an expensive salon protein treatment) was Wella's Power Mask. I can't do without it now (and I'm not easily pleased!) and get it cheap through eBay.
I dye my hair frequently. Hence I have very damaged hair. For me the best thing that has ever worked, is a two step process. But you may not like it.
1. Do not blow dry your hair. Let it air dry.
2. Try to go as long as you can without using gel, hairspray, etc, and also, try to strech out the time in between washings as long as you can stand. Your own hair oils can do wonders if you let them stay long enough.
I am booked to have this done on Sat 4th Feb - will let you know how it goes.
I have my hair relaxed (I am white european) every 10 to 12 weeks and also have it highlighted every now and again. In addition, I also blow dry it straight every morning for 15 mins (do not wet it first) - so my hair has quite a rough time - if it can improve mine, then it should work on everyone's hair
It was sooo straight when she had finished it that I had to wash it again the next day and restyle it -not sure if that was a good move or not . It was also seemed much heavier and actually moved when I turned my head (normally it doesnt move much). It also feels in better condition and the elasticity has improved loads
Anyway it seems to be much glossier and I would think I will have another one done. After all, if it means that I use less product when I dry it, then it will pay for itself eventually. But I would try to leave it longer before washing it following the treatment
Excellent - i didnt find that mie helped that much although the boyfriend dd say oh your hair feels so silky so maybe it did work? Gawd knows! hope you had a nice holiday - anywhere nice and hot? x
Suppose it depends on what your hair is like in the first place ..... mine must be related to straw - what is yours like
It is much smoother now than it was - I usually wear it tied up but since having the Tanagra it keeps working loose and falling down.
One salon has been trying to convince me to have one of their Kerastase salon conditioning treatments (10ish)which you then follow up with a course of treatments at home (another 20 - 25) - have you tried it?
