to be honest, there won't be much difference in price wherever you go. i got mine about 4 years ago for about �90... and you'll still pay around the same price now. they really are the best hair straighteners, so no wonder they've not brought down the price. what a fab husband you are:)

try ebay.....MK3 type are being replaced by new Mk4......I carn't really see any difference between them but seems that everyone wants the latest type.

they have curved plates (at the edges) so you can create curls and flicks better.

oh and I would just go to a salon, if they arent over a hundred quid you aren t being ripped off and if she has longer than shoulder length hair I would dffo get her the wide paddle.

My daughter has yhe M4.They beep when theyre ready and turn themselves off if accidently left on.They cost �130 but that was a gift set.At that time(xmas),you had to buy the gift set to get the M4s.

Got mine for �80 off eBay- bargain! And included was a heat proof mat and some styling products so was very happy.
