I posted a while back re 1 of my cats having a severe flea reaction.
she had steroids and has 4 weekly frontline combi. Last friday i said to my partner how good she was looking, had all her coat back and was fine, only a couple of days later, the steroids had worn off and she had pulled most of her coat off her back end, legs and tail. We took her backto the vets at the weekend, and now along with steroids & frontline combi, she will also need to have twice daily piriton tablets :(
Firstly im wondering if the ones the vets gave us would be the sameas human tablets, and also, if insurance could cover a long running condition? We dont have any problem in paying for everything for her, but it would be helpful if lifetime insurance cover would help at all?
When at the vets on saturday, they said she has a severe allergy for a cat who is only 2.5 years old.
She had an injection on sat of steroids again, but even now is still licking manicly and pulling her hair out. Its horrible to see her in this way.
Thanks xx

insurance differs from one policy to another DBI only cover for any condition for a period of 12 months, whereas petplan cover for life up to a maximum amount dependant on what cover you have taken out. I would have thought you were covered, but you need to check the policy T & C's.
