I need a jade green or teal-coloured bra to match a dress I'm going to wear at a special birthday party on 12th October. I've searched shops and the internet sites until I'm almost the same colour, but it seems they're hard to find! Any suggestions please?

I found a few on the LaSenza website.
There is one on the page linked here and a few more in other styles.Hope you find a suitable one.

Have you tried figleaves.com? They have an underwear finder that you can put your criteria into and see what they come up with

Thank you ladies - I tried both of these, but they had nothing that was suitable. I found just ONE attractive one in the colour required since first posting my question, but it didn't go up to my size! Doh. Got to keep trying, but thanks again for your suggestions.

Daffy - many thanks. I'm not going to get the exact colour I need, but I'm having the Daydream (La Senza) one in aqua. Thanks yet again - very helpful of you both.
sometimes the Ebay shops are quite reasonable and have unusual colours

Thank you Weeal - but I did what I said and sent for one from La Senza. Blow me - all the searching, and I never thought to look on eBay! Mind you - I've never bought anything via that route. Is it easy to do?

Lol - I'd rather not Dassie! I'm quite "ample" for my slender frame, and under the particular dress I'll be wearing, I just need that bit of extra support which a bra can give. Thanks anyway. Under different circumstances I'd agree with you.
I think the challenge you face is the season. I do recall seeing several teal colours in the lingerie department at Harrods when I was there in late August. Haven't been there since.

However, with that in mind, how about adjusting your thinking to looking in a location where the season would be more receptive to 'water colours.'

For example, have a look in Oz...as an example:

Thank you very much! Harrods?? It's a bit late now, but I'll just check out their site and see what's what. I shop there quite often. Never gave it a thought!

Thank you very much! Too late now, but much appreciated.
thanks for that link villagevicar (are you Dawn French) Im always looking for new sites for nice things

Father Bill, do you get some odd looks from the staff of lingerie departments?

Try any of the House of Fraser stores thats where the missus goes.

I do actually. Whats more uncomfortable is the fact I have a stunningly beautiful fifteen year old daughter, who looks twenty. Shes a natural beauty, never needs makeup and her smile floors people. The problem is with this rather bizarre element of people who think shes my er..um.niece! I get washed with innuendo from people at times. My daughter gets tickled by the whole thing, especially in those excruciatingly uncomfortable moments when we are in places, such as the lingerie department of Harrods, I in my dog collar, my daughter asking me what I think ( I dont WANT to think ANYTHINGI just want to get away!) whilst I do what a parent has to do!

Funny, you brought back a sweet memory. My wife was stunningly beautiful as well. We constantly had occasions where people assumed she was either yet another niece, or worse yet, my daughter. I remember we were seated for dinner at Christophers one evening, when the Maitre d came to the table and asked whether he could take my daughters jacket. Without missing a beat, my wife leaned over to me, saying loudly enough for the Maitre d to hear, Oh Daddy, do you mind if I keep it here with me, I might want to go out and play a bit while you try to get through your dinner.

I dont think the Maitre d heard me breathe the words, but he could read my lips as I mustered up the breath to say no thank you!

Weeal, oh my, have you hit the nail on the head! I dont think a week passes that someone doesnt compare my personality (NOT my size) with Dawn Frenchs role in the vicar of Dibley. I cant even escape it at funerals! Oh the chains we carry through life! :-)
