It would sting like hell. I put toothpaste on mine.
oh god no, i wouldnt do that, it will burn

use teatree or clearisil
do you know if it would leave a mark if you used it?
neat vodka is very good for spots - just dab it on with a cotton bud, the alcohol in it is very drying so basically dries the spot out.

sadly, drinking it doesn't help!
aftershave is also good, but stings a bit
Many of the spot removers on offer today are nothing more than isopropyl alcohol with perfume. Using The base content in Nail varnish remover is typically acetone. Whilst it has some beneficial properties in cleaning china, removing sticky labels, covering scuffs on linoleum, etc, using it on your skin could actually exacerbate the spot, causing it to inflame.

The best way to dry a spot is to dip a clean cotton bud in isopropyl that has been poured into a glass and then dab the offending spot several times. Repeat the process approximately ten minutes later to help continue drying out the spot.

Happy spotting!

Thanks guys for all your tips !
Nail Varnish remover seemed way too drastic to be honest with you, but now I have all these methods of trying !
To be honest, I will try anything cos my skin is constantly awful!
I have to admit, I tried it in my youth after a recomendation from my sister. I hate to say it, but it did work. Can't be good for your skin though.

In response to an earlier post, it didn't mark my skin.

Not promoting it in any way, just wanted to state a fact.
