I have an embarrassing problem - an itchy bottom. Can you tell me how to get rid of it? Please help

It could be caused by worms which are invisible to the naked eye. This is the area that they irritate. It which case a trip to the doctor should cure it.

You may be siffering from haemorrhoids which would give you the symptoms you describe. They are slightly enlarged veins in the anal passage, which respond to an over-the-counter preparation - ask your chemist for advice. Chemists receive this type of inquiry all the time, there is no need to feel inhibited, but if you are shy, a quick phone call may give you the information you need. Otherwise, you may have a local bacteria infection which can be cured quickly with a prescription. Have a word with your GP, there's no need to be embarrassed, your complaint is far more common than you think, and nothing to be ashamed of. Your doctor can cure your condition, and assure you there is nothing more serious involved.

attatch some sticky-see-through vinyl tape (3M would do this... don't laugh) near the spot where it makes itch.. and few sec later. see if there's anything you can see such as eggs, or little worm.. then report it to doctor, or go to drug store or chemstry, ask about if there's any method for those problem. it happens a lot to baby I read.

you might suffered candidiasis.try some antifungal cream that contain miconazole nitrat.it works for me.

when you bath dont add any scented bubble bath or anything with purfume in it.
only use simple or natural soap.
Add lots of salt to your bath too.

hi i have the same problem as you. i find my self itching the problem any time of the day, but the thing is with me it feels so nice when i itch it. i dont know what the prob is but it needs to be itched, any more advice would be nice many thanks.
