Are you allergic to all chemical hair colours dolly? How about a herbal dye such as Ferria? There are others as well. You should always do a strand test or place some dye on the inside of your elbow for at least 8 hours to see if you're allergic when you buy a new dye.

thanks cherrybea. had a rash on face 3 wks after using one well known brand!! my hairdresser has his own that he mixes and is ok but cant be bothered going to hairdressers sometimes.have also looked up henna which is supposed to be non allergenic.
always to the allergy test which they suggest just in case, especially if you have already suffered with this

do you have a Salon Services store nearby? i mix my own dyes which i buy from there

thanks for that weeal.will go in sally's and enquire about mixing my own etc.cheers.
Your stylist should give you a skin-test.

The URL given supply salons and whatever you buy there should be applied by a qualified stylist/colorist.

People with extra sensitive skins (on reaction to skin test) can avoid the problem with anti-histamin tablet before process.
