Have you ever had a professional facial done in a salon? Approx how much did you pay, was it worth it & how long did the effect last? I'd never really thought about it until a friend recently mentioned she'd like one so I'm considering going too - we could both do with a bit of cheering up.

morning all...now c'mon, someone's perm must have turned to frizz in this cold wind & rain? Are you ok neti? how's your dongle dangling?
I've just had a look at Accuweather shaney...apparently there's minimal potential for heavy snow & rapid freeze up here, haha.
Btw, for anyone who enjoyed it it looks like there's a new series of Kingdom week after next.
Morning all - am sick and tired of having to sign-in every time, why is this happening to me?? Yes I'm fine thanks, daughter went back last night, so peace reigneth. don't talk to me about dongles, the damned thing only lasted 2hrs after all that fuss, so defo not getting one. Am incarcerated in the house as the cat has a mouse (3rd morning running) and is trying to bring it into the house, I hate anything that runs quickly. All windows shut in case the mouse can climb sheer walls, so am sweltering! Once i find the head on the door mat all will be ok, but until then I'm stuck here. Have done 3 loads of washing so no more room on lines. Had blood test on Monday and have another huge bruise and also a funny little bruise complete with hole on a vein further down my arm, very strange - these nurses are vampires!! Will try to get in again later, but all this signing in is doing my head in!!
BTW I'm from sussex and have never heard of dwileing flonks, but I'll give it a go!
Yay! windows and doors open again, little dead mouse chewed up on doormat, cat has to do this once a day, I hate it but cannot help it, next it'll be the top half of a lizard which still crawls, I do hate nature sometimes.

Heavy snow Robinia ?
By the look of it out there nothing would surprise me .It's freezing cold and blowing a gale . I knew this would happen as soon as I unstitched my vest .Anyone with a dongle dangling whilst flonking their dwiles here would be well advised to put a woolly over it .
Hope you are all OK otherwise ..I'm thinking about putting the heating on . Where's this hot weather we were promised .
in a rush... painter all over me...here are some Iceland pictures

Srokkur geyser http://i42.tinypic.com/20hq3id.jpg

Reykjavik town hall http://i42.tinypic.com/15mgzmr.jpg

Reykjavik corrugation http://i39.tinypic.com/25t9ldj.jpg

Geyser goes up every four minutes, but still people seem to be caught on the hop... A lot of old Reykjavik buildings are clad in corrugated iron to protect them from the elements, but it makes the town (which is pretty low-rise) look all rather temporary

morning... lovely pics jno...I'd fit in there very well, I look a bit corrugated.

ooh, lordy, my aching bod...who's got the lineament?
Afternoon all - grrrrr

don't ever buy a Toshiba laptop, my daughter's is 8 moths old and two keys have fallen off and Toshiba won't repair it under guarantee even though they said they would, I hate them!!
Beautiful piccies jno your visit there was quick, didn't realise you had gone yet!
can you just glue the keys back on, neti?
Well i wondered that jno but didn't want to mess with it thinking it was under guarantee, but when daughter next comes over i'll get Mr n to look at it. She's apparently lost the spring/spongy thingy which goes underneath the keys. Then I'l go and stuff it up the director of Toshiba's ar*e!!
Why oh why do i have to sign in every damned time???
Question Author
is it safe to come in...? neti's doing a geyser impression in cb, haha...everyone I know seems to be letting off steam this week. I've got 2 old Toshiba tele's & they've been brilliant.

.....<ducks>.....

re signing in every time, usually your login gets stored as a cookie. Are you clearing out your cookies at the end of a session? I do this, force of habit from my working years as I just used an office computer and didn't want the person next day knowing which timewasting websites* I'd been on. But it means I have to sign in every time.

*this one, obviously.

morning sunbeams...lovely day

<sighs>...it looks as though my robinia's suffering with this mystery ailment that's affecting them all over the country. It's always the last thing to come into leaf but it seems to be slower than usual & lots of the leaves that have grown are raining down. :o( ...I always said I'd leave here if it died.........
....so which one of you is gonna take me in then?

......(((helloooo?))).....

PS discussion here - but no solutions
