hi! My fiance has his left ear pierced & he is very much normal.But recently my friends saw his picture & started saying thinghs about him.What should i say I never new that right or left ear piercing has  a meaning.Please help as what should i say

Just ignore them! If you don't think there's anything wrong then that's ok.

Tradionally, the left ear was to imply that you were straight, the right ear if you were homosexual.

 

But as smudge says - ignore them.

Call me naive, but i didn't know that ear piercing symbolised anything......think i'm getting old and out of touch!  Anyway, management1, I'm with everyone else - ignore them and find some new friends - naive ones like me!! xx

I think it was Rita Rudner that said women should always be attracted to men with pierced ear(s) as they have experienced pain and have bought jewellry.

There was a discussion on here about this a coupla weeks ago. A lot of people said that a certain ear pierced meant you were gay...I had never heard of it and said that if you're confident in your sexuality you shouldn't care what others think. And I stand by that.
