wedding outfit

i am going to a summer wedding and am stuck for ideas as to what to wear, i am always in trousers or trouser suits and would really like to wear a dress, but i hate my legs would it be wrong to wear a maxi dress, any ideas would be appreciated.

As long as you enter into the spirit of a joyous occasion, it shouldn't matter what you wear as long as it shows you made an effort! Definitely wear a hat like your name! Ladies in hats look great!

Have a look at Jacques Vert on e-bay. I'm not suggesting you buy from there but it will give you an idea of what is worn to weddings as a lot of the outfits are maxi dresses.
