Dyed Brunette to blonde, need colour bath?

Hi everyone, i have naturally dirty blonde/light brown hair but had it dyed for years blonde.  The last time i had my hair done at hairdressers i picked a style and colour from a magazine that had reds blondes and browns thru with lighter blonde at front....was really stunning in magazine.

Anyway, hairdresser said no prob to giving me this colour but as i had dyed brown hair she would have to bleach front part to 'lift' it.....anyway what has happened is its horrible!!!  Absolutely like bird poo on front of head!!! ............so have bought semi perm dye and covered brown but starting to go red! (I only did front bit) hair is awful!!!

I would like to go back to blonde highlights again.....how do i do this without hairdresser suggesting bleach again? Dont want yellow hair, just soft blonde...thanks and sorry for rambling x

Seriously, I wouldn't attempt at trying to fix it yourself! I would either go in and say you are absolutely not happy with the results (and they should fix it for free), or if you have lost all trust in that hairdressers find somewhere else that has got a good reputation.

Basically you have to get rid of the red - that will cause hair to go yellow.  You should have re-pigmented the blonde.  Best to go to a hair dresser.  I have red undertones and have to use a 40v peroxide so that I go a nice blonde and not harsh yellow.

Wayneo - I think if you haven't got anything sensible or clever to say to whosthatgirl then don't say anything at all.  People come on this site for help and answers - not to be insulted.  People who say things like you have to whosthatgirl obviously have some problem with themselves!  I suggest you grow up before posting any more answers on this site.

Sorry to interupt you question whosthatgirl but I was wondering if someone can anyone tell me why Wayneo's message has disappeared?  Is it because of the nasty things that he wrote in his message?

hi butter1, thanks for your words to that wayno guy....i assume his message has been deleted as it was rather rude.  Dunno what was up with guy.....obviously nothing better to do with his time than reading womens troubles!  Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on bad hair, have decided to leave it to pro to fix!
