Midgy Bites?!!
5 Answers
Why do I get so many Midgy bites all over my arms and legs?
I have just got back from two weeks in Tenerife and I have about 50 bites (all itchy as hell). My oh doesn't have any and the two small people have three between them that don't seem to bother them.
I'm still scratching myself raw with no reason to believe it will change soon!!!
Why me? and why do they itch sooooooo much?

It`s just that some people react to the bites and some people don`t. I`m not sure I agree with him. I have seen mosquitos fly past other people to get to me. I have heard that people that lack B vitamins get bitten. I have also heard that people who give off more carbon dioxide through their skin get bitten (unfit people apparently). I went to Australia one time and sat out in a garden and counted 63 bites on my legs. I don`t get itchy bites anymore. Maybe another theory is that if you get bitten enough, you get immunity to the itching. There is nothing like scratching a mosquito bit. It is pure bliss!
Thanks everyone.
Thank goodness it isn't just me then :(
They itch soo much I just can't stop. The relief if pure and I get the impression that if not for the 'after itching sensation' it would hurt like hell but for some reason when you stop scratching the feeling is'nt pain at all.
I will try piriton next time to see if that helps. I had a tub of elo vera and that helped for about 10 minutes.
