absecess has rained on its own

had scar where ther orignal nasty was (20 years ago) should I carry on draining or get go to GP ?

How big is it and does it look healthy and free from infection (hot etc...)?

Location could also be a factor depending on whether you want to say.

If it's an old abcess thats suddenly started up again I'd go to your GP and ask for some antibiotics to clear it up alba.

Abscess has reappeared from the scar (nasty thing and yuck from it)

20 years.............no big deal and nothing to get upset about.

Could be due to many things (you don't tell us were it is).....see your GP is it may need re-opening.

cheers sqad, it's in a femine area (if I were a man I'd be growing three :))

The scar is where it was lanced, top of groin and next to thigh, right in the part where you sit and the legs meet)

Got antibugs from doc so we'll see (hopefully not) what happens. Thank you folks xx
