Granddad G has been diagnosed with tendonitis in his ankle and shoulder. Dr has said to take pain killers and to exercise the areas gently Is there anything else that he can do - would a massage help?

Bad luck having tendonitis in two different places at the same time..... quite unusual.

I cannot see the value of massage in addition to the treatment already prescribed.

Thank you for that squad - can you tell me what causes it as he hasn't been doing anything differerent to normal?
Sorry granny, just seen your post.

On 90% of cases it is secondary to wear and tear.......a preventive measure on the part of the muscles to safeguard the underlying bone.
