I have had the thin, flexible camera up the nose and the more rigid one down the throat (under general). Neither was a big deal really. I'm quite surprised they are not just putting a chest drain in for partially collapsed lung (i've had several).
Well, it will almost certainly be done under local and via the nose.....no big deal, a squirt up the nose, a squirt in the mouth, there "might be a small prick in the neck and a relaxing injection through a vein.
Daffy - from what I understand my lung had partially collapsed and stuck to itself, the doc wants to do the bronchoscopy so he can go in and unstick it. It can't be done until my warfarin dosage is sorted. Thanks for your answers xx
Pretty cr*p actually, son started down his old path and although he's working he told me this morning he's fed up with it and wants to leave (work). I've had all these health problems over the last year now Mr M has started! Been told he has heart failure. All I can think is we must've been blooming wicked in a past life! Hey ho there are folk a lot worse off than us I guess xx
