some gentle excersises for me for my hip, that may allow it to 'pop' without causing me any or too much discomfort. Thanks

Sorry........not with you.......why do you want your hip to "pop.?"

its quite tricky to explain, Sqad. It will do it of its own accord when I least expect it and it is really sore. I've been sent for an x-ray but i'm waiting to see the Dr next week. I want it to pop because it kinda needs to and because it feels really uncomfortable otherwise. But I also want to try and keep it moving and do something that doesn't cause any discomfort...i can't get socks on without being in pain or being able to lift my leg up.
Well, all thought seems a bit odd and i wouldn't do anything without knowing the cause......and that would depend on the result of the X- Ray.

A couple of conditions do come to mind, neither life threatening.

Hold on until you see your Dr and take ibuprofen if it becomes painful

I will do, taking Diclofenac. I'll let you know how things progress when I've been to see the dr
I hava had the same sort of feeling, QOM, I am seeing a chiropractor for it.

Does it help Boxtops. My dr wanted me to go for physio as well but I can't self-refer so waiting to see what she says next week.

Going for a walk after dinner so will see how things go.
