Not in a good frame of mind at the mo - after an emergency A&E visit, I have been found to have a 20cm ovarian cyst - 50:50 as to whether this is benign or malignant.minsee my surgeon today to discuss future, plans and surgery.

In the job I do, i do realise the implications and prognosis of,ovarian cancer. And even if, God please, this is benign, I do have rather a major op ahead of me.

Has anyone got any positive experience(s) of this sort of thing? No negative stories please, I can't cope with those just at the minute.

At least you know now what you have facing you, Salla.

Well, still not really. They still won't know for sure whether benign or malignant til they get the buggering thing out and do a biopsy.

I'm not afraid of the op, or of any subsequent treatment, so long as I.m ok at the end of it all.
Just want to give you much best wishes and a big hug. x
Hi Sallla, just want to wish you well and I hope everything works out, xxx
Wow, thats one hell of list of treatment! Looks like they're being nice and thorough.
I wish you well and hope for speedy recovery for you.

I hope all goes well for you...the odds seem stacked in your favour and your attitude certainly is.......I had six ovarian cysts....all benign...take care and I wish you well. x
My best wishes to you. I hope all goes well.
Sorry, Salla, I didn't mean to say that you have got a diagnosis. I really meant that now you have something to focus on, a treatment path that you know you are starting on.

xx
Hi BBB - had a friend who was really a friend of a friend in America - she liked in fact a big drink - quite a nice figure except for this large belly which she put down to the beer - went to see about it and they removed a 9lb benign tumour. And she is doing great. Wish you well - wish they had not changed names as one got to know one's personality on this site. Now, you don't know who are you talking to. You will be fine - everybody worries particularly when it comes to ovarian problems.
All the best from me as well.Saw your post on FB about needing a surgeon with a steady hand etc and sorry but didn't read it all cos thought you were being your usual giddy self and was going to go back to it later.Had a friend with one of these and she also had a molar pregnancy. She was given doom and gloom expectations from both conditions but is all clear and alive 15 years later.Chin up xx
