Hypothetical Kidney Question

Say you gave a kidney away to a relative (assume you dont have 3 kidneys!)

Now you are not feeling too hot and your one kidney isn't doing so well.
Would you ask for your kidney back?

I am not surprised Woofgang but I didn't know this.

I often wonder how things work out afterwards for the person giving away the kidney should they experience health problems even if they were well when they made the decision. They probably keep quiet -the kidney is not on loan - there is that. Must be awkward though.
